That's kind of you, Yukiko, but I feel like I should be asking you instead. I was clearly in over my head, and for that, we both could have been seriously injured.

Oh no. I'm not worried about physical injuries.

I'm more worried about mental ones. I know that shook you up, and badly. Are you feeling okay?

Oh... Yes. It was shocking, but I think I'll be fine. That, unfortunately, wasn't the only time I was in over my head last month.

I was attacked by a monster while setting up signs outside of the city... A large bird that fired electricity? I had to be rescued, actually.

Was it made of metal?

God I hope it wasn't that thing from August.

Not necessarily. Most of them weren't particularly dangerous.

But it is something distressing.

Some may not, but that one most certainly was. I was lucky to escape... I had to be saved, once again.

Not at all. Based off of what I've seen, I'm sure I have them. Just their nature eludes me.

I don't know, precisely. But if I... knew people as I remembered, and we fought together, then there's no doubt in my mind I had some sort of ability?

I wouldn't say it is. Most people who join the app develop some supernatural or pseudonatural ability.

Ah, Akira features a lot in my memories. But I think it's because I talk to him a lot. We were close friends before I arrived and now... I suppose we share a past life.

You also very likely share one with myself. There's a lot of common threads between the people I directly remember, and Akira. Our theory is that there are three groups of us that share the same world, though at different points in time.

How many of us are there? From the same world, I mean.

My memories from this past life are clearly still in Japan. The scene I remembered between myself and my principal wouldn't have been completely out of place growing up.

That I'm personally aware of? Almost twenty.

There might actually be five groups, though. There's someone else who has similar memories who just surfaced, and someone else who was off the network who had a power exactly like mine. Though none of us remembered him.

Is this normal? For that many people to be from the same place...?

It seems uncommon. Not unheard of, but uncommon. To the best of my understanding, at any rate.
